Why?

This is a question of concern. I may be wrong, god knows.... What I see particularly in India that christians are taking advantage of reserved post in education, service.......and much more. What Jesus says is 'who so follows me shall leave behind his past' but here it is totally different, the followers of Christ are carrying with them the bundle of their past, there by crucifying Christ every second, even the spritual leaders are mum in this case. The Government is only interested in vote bank. What is all this? For your answer please do not quot the portions of Bible, but be practical, I am really serious regarding this.
