I have some pills to quit smoking but I'm scared to take them.

When my Dr. did a 5 hour blood sugar test he found out I have very low blood sugar. He told me to eat 6 small meals a day and he also told me I had to quit smoking. I told him I had tried and that it didn't work out for me so he prescribed me Wellbutrin. I studied up on Wellbutrin and found that it increases the risk of suicide, which is why I am scared to take it. I have thoughts of suicide on a daily bases and I fear taking this will just make me go through with those thoughts. Is there something I can do to reduce the risk if I decide to take this? I really want to quit smoking for my families health and I've tried the patches with no success. Any help would be welcome.

I suggest that you take them. My nephew is on a pill to help him stop smoking and they are really working well. Might as well try them and improve your health!
