taking pictures

We have been taking pictures of the beautiful place where we live. We have some beautiful bright pink flowers about the size of dinner plates and their color over powers the camera. If any of you have any suggestions I could really use them. We have tried in the full sun and in the early morning light before the sun is really up. We have tried with flash and without. The color still overpowers the picture.

Perhaps you could buy a better camera or choose a faster shutter speed, smaller aperture size.
Or simply use photoshop to edit your picture.

I have been taking photos of my garden all year as I have been growing flowers and veggies. I only started gardening last year so am taking photos so I can keep track of my progress
