Since am still adjusting with my new time zone which is 12 hours difference from our country, I couldn't sleep well at night. I wake up from bed very early. Even then, I make it a point that I still walk an hour at dawn and another hour before bedtime. I have two concerns. What do I do to adjust with my sleeping time? Do you think walking would just good for my health even if I lack sleep? Thanks for your pieces of advice...

That's exactly what I do when I can't sleep.
I find it difficult to sleep in a foreign environment. I once stayed over at my classmate's house. I couldn't sleep at all so I walked around. My friend saw me walking around in the middle of the night and she got a shock.
I think you can try to make yourself very tired in the day so that you can adjust to the new time zone.

Thanks poohgal! That's what am doing right now. Especially that hurricane is coming. We've got a lot of things to do. I hope I could sleep well tonight unless the wind would blow me up. LOL! Thanks again.

hi reybadgar...i have had jobs around the clock pretty much. the latest was 8pm to 4:30am. when i had a sudden change in hours, i would end up being sleep deprived. i would live on 2-4 hours sleep because my body doesn't adjust to getting up early. sometimes i live on cat naps. you just do what needs to be done.

Great! Good for you your body doesn't demand time to rest. I just feel weak at times. You see how it is to be used to sleep 6-8 hours. That's what my kinder teacher taught me.LOL. Oh well, thanks a lot... That would keep my sanity.

If u cant get to sleep, go for runs.. haha =D It will sure to make u sleep.. hehe ^_^ But being in a foreign country, u can either watch tv, or the best way, drink warm milk ^_^
BUt my frenz have taught me a method, on the angle of your sleeping position, which i din try it b4.. According to him, b4 we fall asleep, we will be lying down in a most comfortable positon and angle that we will fall asleep immediately, and so when u are in a foregin place, just imagine that's your own bed at home, and positon the whole bed in the your till it's exactly like your own room, but u cant open your eyes.. Soon u will fall asleep and sleep very well ^_^
I dunno if this works, but u can give it a try ^_^
