Well, what I mean is regular eating time for breakfast, lunch and supper. Most working people are eating early at 6 or 6:30am others have no breakfast at all because they are in a hurry. Then eat at 11:30 -12 for lunch and supper at 6:30 -7pm. That is my regular time of eating when I was working. But now that I am staying home? I have irregular time of eating. I just eat anytime I am hungry. Sometimes I combine my breakfast and lunch at once.. that is when I am busy, I set aside eating and continue working my online thing.
What about you? do you have regular eating time and leave your work whatever it is when it is time for eating? some people are like that. Leave the work when it is time to eat. For me? finish the work before eating.

There were times when I at home and alone like when on vacation leave and all my family members were in the office, like you... I do not eat my meals on time because of busyness with the work at home. Only when my stomach would complain would I put down my work to fill my hungry stomach.
During Sundays, our breakfast is set at 7:00 am so that we all have no complaints about our stomach once we go to church to worship at 9:00. However, during weekdays when we all have to go to work and had to leave the house as early as 7:00 we take our breakfast in the office. My breakfast in the office is set in between 9 to 10. It would consist of mostly banana and wholebread bread or sometimes a little rice with fruits and veggies. Then lunch break is set at 12:00 so we all have to eat at 12:00. Dinner is done at home with the family and that is between 8:00 to 8:30. My husband is quite strict when it comes to time of eating. He wants the meal to be always on time otherwise, he would call my attention.

Wow!! that is very ideal mealtime schedule. Oh!! really? your husband is strict with the eating time? that is very good at least you will never get head ache on that.. I usually get head ache when I can not fill in my stomach the time it complains. My husband is really opposite with yours. He never minds of the time of eating. Sometimes he goes all through out the day without lunch. Sometimes No supper when we get home late? But me? Oh!! If I am hungry even if it is 11 or 12 at night when we arrive? I would still eat.. I know it is not good to eat very late but I have o when I am hungry.

I would say no, I don't have a regular schedual, but at the same time yes. My work schedual is usually what dictates when I get to eat. I.e before, lunch our and when I get home.
On my day off I just eat when I am hungry. Mostly munchies.

Hi Bebs,
When I got here, I become an irregular eater, hehehe..sounds like irregular student! Anyway, upon waking up, prepare hubby's stuff and when he leaves, chikka with family for 5-10 minutes and take a shower then clean/arrange stuff around then all the time for online stuff!
So, I will only stand when I cannot tolerate anymore the call of my tummy..LOL! I don't follow time in eating during weekdays! I eat when I am very hungry and it is always brunch for me!

Hi che,
We are pretty much the same. when I get here I also become an irregular eater. I have no appetite with the food. when I wake up I also prepare hubby's lunch and talk to friends and family online which sometimes eat up all my morning time chatting. I can not go on to my household task until in the afternoon plus my online work.
As what you said brunch? that is what I have too.

I usually eat more or less at the same times everyday. i eat breakfast at like between nine and ten, and then I eat lunch usually between 12 and 1, and I eat dinner between 5 and 6. That is what I am most likely to do unless I get up early and eat earlier. It is easy to get into a rut with your eating times.

Seems we do have the same eating pattern.
Though it varies during Sunday and Holidays
wherein I was waking up late in the morning so the
breakfast is got adjusted, but still it is three times a day.

In the weekdays, I have to have regular time for eating because I have to work on time. I will get up in 6 am and then eat my breakfast at 6:30-7am, 12:00-12:30 for lunch and then 7-7:30pm for supper.
But in the weekend, I don't have a regular time for eating. When I have the meals depends on the time I want to eat. Sometimes I skip my breakfast and then have my lunch after 2pm.

We don't normally eat breakfast, we just have juice and coffee! And we eat lunch at 1 pm and 7 pm for dinner. But we eat some snacks whenever we feel hungry. My husband comes home everyday for lunch, the only time he will skip lunch when he's out for the meeting and couldn't make it back on time.

You are not eating breakfast? Well, I am not using coffee or juice for breakfast. And sometimes my breakfast also is very late. I usually combine breakfast and lunch but I would really eat something wen I am hungry at any hour between 12 to 3 pm. That is after my brunch. i should say, snacks while I am in my computer.

I usually eat regular meals but there are times that i dont have the appetite to eat so sometimes i skip lunch and proceed to dinner lol. A healthy lifestyle supposedly consist of a breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Doesn't necessary mean eat a lot every meal but a small portion of each meal will make you have a healthy lifestyle and you wouldnt feel like eating a whole lot of food every meal. But lately i have skip that one since i hardly had the appetite to eat.

Well, that's what most health conscious are saying. Good healthy regular meals a day can give you healthy and strong. Skipping is not good But like me, if I'm not hungry I am not eating even if it/s the normal time to eat for that particular meal. Which is not also good I think.

I am also from the Philippines. I just migrated here in US and I know what you mean. I used to eat at regular time when I wan there but when I arrived here, I find it difficult to follow my usual habit because I have no appetite. the food that I used to eat every meal has changed in here. I am not eating rice every meal. Just seldom that I have rice. That's why every eating time tome here is just like snacks in the Philippines for me. anyway, I'm trying to adjust. have a nice day.

Dear friend,
I do have regular time but to maintain it is bit difficult especially when involved in works. During the morning sometimes I miss my breakfast as I may be late and may have it at my office, during lunch I may shift my lunch to bit late because of any urgent works and during dinner I may get much of time to have it. Hence I very hardly have maintain regular time for eating. It is mostly regular during holidays.

Oh!! that is unhealthful my friend. You might get sick later.. health is wealth.. remember that. How can you work when you are sick? My mother would be upset with me when I will not eat on the specific time for lunch. That was when I was young. Now I have to decide but I think the best is have a regular time of eating.

We usually eat supper between 5:30 and 6 pm. We close our office at 5 then head on home and fix supper. Unless it is a night I am working at the hospital then we leave the office early and we eat around 4:30.

for me, i dont. we will just eat whenever we feel hungry/starving. Even in the middle of the night. We would check the fridge to get for something to eat or go out to buy something to eat. There are lot of 24/7 drive through fast foods so no worries..hehe

Well i guess every country has different eating schedules,,,,I uaually have breakfast at around 9 oclock after the kids have gone to school,,,but i have a good breakfast, not just a coffee or something. Lunch time is at 2 and the whole family eats together beacuse thats our sharing time and we talk about ourday and what´s next. And at night time we have a light dinner at around 8 because drs don´t recommend eating after 7 oclock! Of course, sometimes i eat at different schedules if i´m out or at my mom´s house,,,,it´s not written in stone.

yea, I think you;re right!! It depends upon where you come from. It is strange for me to have regular lunch at 2pm? But if that is what you used to, well, it is not a question as long as you are adjusted into it and that is the time to eat you are used to.

I am a stay at home mom and we definitely have a regular eating schedule. We have breakfast at 8:30, lunch at 12:00, and supper at 5:30. This has been our schedule for so long that now everyone in my family gets hungry at those exact times. I guess you could say our stomachs are trained to know when it is time to eat.
