Do you wear SOCKS with your SHOES?

I always wear socks when I am wearing shoes. For example sports shoes. I think it's very important to wear socks together with shoes because it helps to protect my feet against blisters and makes wearing the shoes and walking a lot more comfortable. When I am wearing feminine shoes like those with heels, I'd also wear stockings to make sure I don't get blisters easily. What about you? Do you wear socks with your shoes? Why or why not?
