My boyfriend's birthday is this coming october..I'm thinking for the best gift i'll give to him on his birthday...His last birthday i surprise him a small party with his friends. I planned to have a small party on the house of his bestfriend. He did'nt know that..I'm the one who prepare everything and i'm also the one who cooked the foods...And as he said after we surprised him, it's the best birthday he had.because i gathered all of his friends for that occassion...now i'm thinking another way to give on his coming birthday..
What do you think is better to give?
Share your best gift ever you gave to your loveone...
thanks for sharing!
happy mylotters!

I tried that last year, it was really for her. I think if I were you this time why don't you and him travel alone. It is something different from the birthdays he had. Somewhere really he long that he wanted to see. That he will like it. Then just seeing it in pictures. It will be a journey between the two of you that you will remember more. Have a nice day!

I would say my love and loyalty is my best gift for my boyfriend. Haha that sounds so cheesy but it is true. As for something tangible I did the same thing his last birthday I prepared a party for him with our friends. I cooked and some of our friends helped out too. He was happy for sure. As for my suggestion to you on your boyfriend's upcoming birthday, since you already made him a party last year with your friends I suggest a celebration this year with only the two of you. Time alone from the rest of the world if you can travel somewhere even though not too far then do so. Create more memories in new places. Do stuff you wouldn't normally do for him on a regular day. Pamper him for the whole day and just be his for the whole day. Good luck!

My husband's birthday is also coming up in October, and I've been trying to think of things to get and do for him as well =). We'll have been married for 4 years on September 10, but we've been together for over 8 years. When we were still just dating, I started a tradition that he loves and looks forward to every year. Instead of just doing something for his birthday day, I actually give him a "birthday week". It sounds like it might be a lot of work, but it's really not that bad. For instance, one day, I did a "media day", where I gave him a book he'd been wanting, burned a CD with our favorite songs, and took him to a movie. Then another evening, I just gave him a massage with the works - a full body treatment with oil or lotion. And one night, I made him a nice dinner and served it to him by candlelight. Usually, I also do a small party with family and close friends, where we just have cake and ice cream and hang out together. And then, for one of the bigger things, we get in the car, and I drive him somewhere he's been wanting to go (like a basketball game or something like that), or we go to a bed & breakfast and spend. I've also taken him to dinner at his favorite restaurant, or just taken him bowling and to ride go-carts. It doesn't have to be elaborate - you can also just give him a little present or a small token of affection each day. There have been times I haven't been able to afford much, so I just make do with what I have.
I hope that this might have given you some ideas, at least. Good luck!

The last gift I have given to my partners birthday was the surprising him by my appearance. He always tell me that all he want is me so what I deed is make myself look beautiful as I can before he comes home from the office. His face was so happy when he saw me like that. I think you maybe want to try that.

The best gift I ever gave my boyfriend was a dinner at Benihana's. He had wanted to go there for the longest time, that I just had to take him. He loved it. He said that it was one of the best gifts that he ever got.

You should try to find out about something he has always wanted, and then surprise him with that. Those kind of gifts are the best because it not only shows that you took the time to find out what he wanted but also that you are interested in really getting to know him and everything about him,,,,it´s sometimesmore about the work you put into getting the gift than the gift itself. Especially if it´s something that not most people have or is hard to get,it shows you´re putting an effort in the relationship.Maybe it´s a special book he likes,or a song that means a lot to him,,,,it could be anything.

hi there. buying a gift for a guy is surely the hardest thing for me to think of. well, in the past, i had bought a lot of gifts for my boy friend, and it really took me almost a lifetime to find the perfect gift. well, one good advise would be that you go to the mall and try to see what fits your boyfriend, for every person has different likes and dislikes. hope he'll like what you will buy him.

its a difficult one - the best present *I THINK* ive given was this year. my girlfriend and i live on an island in the mediterranean and she went to university in england, but hasn't seen her friends in 2 years, so i organised us to be in london and get her friends to come out for drinks.
although only 7 people turned up, it was a good night and good to see all her friends around her.

I guess the best gift that i have given my girlfriend is a necklace with a heart pendant on it. For us guys something that's not too expensive will do even a card for me i really appreciate it coz i know it really comes from the heart.
