Halloween is only 58 days away (oh yes, I'm counting down:P). Do you have any idea what you're doing this year?
I'm dressing up as Old Gregg (pic attached. he's a character from the mighty boosh). Pretty much no one in my town is going to who know I am, lol. It's going to be great:D Anyway, and I plan on attending my town's annual Halloween thingy with my brother&a friend. I'm so excited - I CAN NOT WAIT!

Yep. eh! It's pretty much like any other birthday. The only time it was a big deal to me was when I was a kid. It was like getting gifts from everyone, especially if I told them it was my birthday. lol
I know a lot of people make a big deal of it, though, decorating and dressing up. My best friend and her hubby strung little white lights around the yard, so that it looked like spider web. They also took apart an old umbrella and turned it into a huge spider, they had climbing down their house onto a trash can.
They also did up a headless man and sat him on the porch, with a jack o lantern beside him. Kind of scarey for the kids, but not too much. But, one time he sat behind the headless man and said something, as a kid was passing, and scared the tar out of him. He felt awful, and ran out and helped the mom calm him down.
I used to know someone that decorated her home and her self for every holiday. She was such a nut! lol

Aw, my mom does up our house a bit.
When my brother and I were younger, we would have little pumpkin carving contests. My mom & I vs my dad & brother - my mom& I usually won :P
A couple years ago, we put together a haunted house which was fun, though I rather walk through one then be in one.

For the month of October, I'll be having some of my photos in a gallery exhibition. Then on the 31st, there's a reception event that I will be attending. When they planned the exhibition, I don't know if they realized the reception would be on Halloween or not. I don't know how long the reception will last, but since Halloween is on a Friday night, I may go out and party afterwards!
