If you have been blogging a while and worked into writing actual articles even if it hasn't been for pay (or just for adsense), you may be accepted at Design Studios. So far, it is the only network that I have found that offers a decent pay for an article. $15 per 400+ work articles that are "how to." They actually sell the articles to Ehow. So, you could go to Ehow and see how the articles are written.
When you go to apply to Designe Studios they will ask you for samples of your work. They don't have to be "how to" articles. They just want to see what level you are writing.
Also, they have a list of subjects available to write on, but some of them are really strange. I have long stopped using those and have suggested my own subject matter. If you get accepted, I would suggest you also suggest your own subjects.
Does anyone else work for Disign Studios that might have any comments on them?

Did I understand you correctly? $15 for +400 articles??? I just joined Associated Contents and I have been making an average of $3 an article. For $15, I would only have to write about 5 - 6 articles. Did you mean $15 for any 400 "word" article accepted?

Associated Content is very low-paying. It's a good site, but in the field of freelance, their payscale is well below the norm. Even $15 is a bit low, but compared to Associated Content, much better.

Very true, IF that is what he meant. If he meant $15 per article, I would like to hear more. :)
