I've been wanting to have tattoo for a long time but I think I'll have a problem going abroad or finding a job because of it. Some companies don't like people with tattoo. Is it true that finding a job and going out of the country is difficult if you have a tattoo?...

I dont think you will have a problem going abroad with a tattoo. But if you are worried about finding a job just make sure that you get something that can be covered at all times if need be and you will be just fine. I have 4 tattoos and I am getting my 5th next friday and I work in a medical office.

I have always wanted a tatoo as well, but I am such a contrary person that I think if I chose one, I wouldn't like it within a month. So I have never got one, and don't think that I ever will. I have had temporary tatoos though and thought they were cool, but got sick of them after a while and was glad when they eventually went away. If you are going to get a tatoo make sure that you can cover it when going for job interviews, as for leaving the country well I don't think it matters.

There are still some places that will not look kindly on a tattoo. There are also people in the world that do not like tattoos on people. So, your solution should be to get a tattoo that no one has to see because your clothing covers it up. Since you are also at a young age, you might want to wait before getting one. Or at least remember that what was terrific at 20 may make you want to cry at forty

You could put it where no one else could see it, but only you. Or if you put it on your arm or leg area, then always wear sleeves, longer skirt/pants to work. There are ways to get around that I think. But really think hard before you do it, because it is expensive and painful to remove if you ever have to or want to. I had a friend who went through that. Not fun.

Um, I don't think so. I have a tattoo and have never had trouble getting a job because of it. Mine is on my arm, and can be covered by sleeves if need be. As long as your tattoo isn't on your face or something odd like that, I can't imagine it would be a problem!

If you that much love for tattoos go for temporary ones which will be automatically faded after one or two weeks...This wont affect you in anywayz but this suits you until you get a job and after that this not possible.

Hmm! Tattoo! It is really not uncommon in my country, for myself some tattoo make you look more better but some I just hate it! It's up to you! I know some countries may not like tattoo so think before you have 1 or just have a temporary tattoo it is safe and not hurt too!

i think i will also want a tatoo as well....
but maybe a small one away from people's line of vision...
maybe get a small one...
so if you do not want it anymore, you can get rid of it faster....
lol...
think through first though!!!
laser treatments are much more painful than tatooing!!!

Yes of course.. Embassy needs people that are clean... If possible, always neat and maintaining good posture of the body... Muscular for men and sexy bodies for women.. They are so strict when it comes on cleanliness.. because before they hire people, they really give tests on it one of those tests is how do he/she maintains his body clean.. now if you have tattoo, You'll be having problems in working abroad.. You'll be forced to use hot iron to remove that (it will be really really painful) so i really suggest you not to do tattoo first.. just do it when you retire =)

If you've been seriously thinking about it for a while, then just take the jump and get it done. As long as you realise that it will be thre for longer than you're gonna like it. Every one with several tattoos always has at least one they dont like.
If you wanted to, get a small one, at least then if you decide that you dont like the design at a later date, you can have it covered up with a slightly larger one
