I use the detergent called extra it works pretty well gets my clothes clean and it won't break your budget at $2.50 a large bottle. My mom won't use anything but Tide and Cheer and I can say my clothes are just as clean as hers.

I know it cost more but I prefer Tide liquid detergent. It does an excellent job. My mom uses it too. When I was in high school we had white band jackets. We had to have them washed at home. The band directer made me stand of in front of the whole band and tell them what my mom used because I had the whitest jacket in the band.

I have a high efficiency front loading washing machine. This requires special HE detergent. The best I have found is Tide HE. It cleans well and also leaves the clothes smelling fresh.

I use All and I just used mine to do laundry earlier. :-) I have tried Era and Wisk before.

I have very hard well water so finding a good laundry soap is difficult. I have had some good results using Purex and we buy the mountain breeze one. My boyfriend can't use some of detergents because he gets skin irritations easily. But he doesn't with the Purex.

I prefer to use Gain or Surf. All can be good as well but price wise I usually go with Surf. It does a great job and the price is better then the other two.

I used any detergent that has no fragrances or dyes in it, as I have severe eczema and mild psoriasis. I have to also use the dryer sheets that have no fragrances, dyes, etc. in them as well.

The one I like the best is the Purex liquid soap . I like this one because a few of us in the house are allergic to different soaps and this one does not bother us at all . It is even good for the baby clothes . I like the one with the yellow cover because I really like the smell it leaves with the clothes . I don't find that I have ever got one that I found did a better job then the next soap so I find this one better just because I like the small and it doesn't break anyone out when I use it .

I prefer the Gain brands, any scent will do as they all smell so good. However, when I am tight on funds, I will use Arm & Hammer or a brand call Extra. Both are equally less expensive. But I prefer Gain, for the way the clothes are clean and remain to smell clean days after washing them!

I have to use detergents that I'm not allergic to, which are only a few. I can use Wisk, All, Clorox2, and Arm & Hammer. All four work really good at getting my clothes clean. If you want something that get's your colors and whites clean without having to use bleach. I would say use Clorox2, it's safe for colors and it brightens your whites at the same time. All is good also, but Clorox2 is for both colors and whites.
