Would you want an ONLINE indicator beside your friends names?

I would like to suggest this to the myLot admins, an online indicator. This way we will know who amongst our friends and other myLotters are online so we could create a real time discussion. Most discussions that are made here have hours-interval and I think it would be very effective if things are discussed and resolved real-time. What do you think guys?

Many sites do this already and I have to agree that it is a good idea. We can see in people's profiles when they last logged on but can't see if they are actually active at any given time as you have pointed out. Infrastructure wise it may be a resource rich challenge for them? Who knows.....

That is a very good idea I have seen other sites where it tells you if your friends are online or not so you know whether to message them or not,and I think if mylot did do something like that then people might get more responses on their discussions and they would know who is online,and whether or not they will get a comment back on any responses they have made or not.
