This has been bugging me how much I want to get this website idea to reality. I've had this idea for 2 years now and have not been able to do anything with it. I've not seen another creation like it and I really would like to do it. Does anyone know how I could go about finding someone to partner with me to actually do the programming? It is extensive so it's nothing like a 'template-to-net' job. I don't know what to ask for as I don't know what building a website from scratch entirely entails. I've been racking my brains and searching the net to no avail; I don't know where to start! HELP!

JTMaier Associates= you? or your company? Last person I shared my idea with he thought it was a good idea and innovative. I haven't heard from him in months now. I don't know if he was yanking my chain or what, but ya ever had and idea that ya just wanted to jump on? That's the feeling I have, lol.

So what do you want doing.
I do graphic work.
Coding. HTML, CSS and PHP.
I can also work with databses.
So I can create dynamic sites.
It all depends on what you want doing though, as I am not an absolute professional.

***Cause it's not just DESIGN. Web design I can do; it would take me a while as I am a perfectionist when it comes to that aspect, but I can do that much. CSS and HTML aren't a problem and I've even been doing okay in PHP, but it's the actual programming and putting the whole picture together to make a fully operational webpage that is way beyond my league. Heck I'd have to go to college for a few years for that I'm sure. And while I do want to go to college for web design and such, I don't have the means to do so right now. But 2 yrs I've had this idea in my head! I want it out! :P

You say no templets are involved, but if you do not know how things are built how do you know it can't have templets? There is such a thing as css, which just tells the pages some basics about color, font size and those sorts of things... there are some good programs for creating websites, but if you email me with what you are going for maybe I can be of some help.
Here are some of the sites I have designed for you have a look at
www.silvaspoon.net
http://www.silvaspoon.net/bicycle/index.html
I also did all the graphics for these pages, and did use some editable templets for uniformity.

i didn't say it couldn't have templates-- i said it's not a 'template-to-net' type deal. IE. Ya buy a package and 'BAM' instant website.

graphics and designs are okay; i can understand those...it's moreso programming and the overall togetherness that is complex to me.
