Key Passage: Matthew 17:14-20
And Jesus answered, "O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me." (Matthew 17:17, ESV)
Faith is a simple word by definition, so why is it so hard to carry out? Jesus only asks us to trust Him--not scale Mount Everest!
You can see His disappointment with our failure to live by faith. But our hearts wander, fear takes over, faith is lost and we struggle as we try to take His place and deal with life on our own.
We experience pain and frustration when we try to fix problems by ourselves. And it's no wonder--God didn't design it that way. He's the One who holds things together, who protects, comforts and heals. When we step in, everything gets messed up.
So it's time for a wake up call. It's time to trust Him. And if you're worried that you don't have enough faith, slow down and remind yourself it's a process. The more you get to know God and practice trusting Him, the more likely you'll trust Him in the future. The power of faith is in God, not in the amount of faith itself.
The key is to trust that God is who He says He is and to place all your confidence in Him. You must believe that He will handle every situation with an unbelievable amount of care and concern. Sometimes His ways are beyond our understanding, but never forget that ultimately they are always good.
You will never regret allowing God to do what He does best. And as you release control, turn over your fears and wait on Him, He will care for you in the most personal and unique ways.

Faith comes from within us. It is by our choice and decision if we will engage ourselves on certain things like believing something. God bestowed us free will and we are left to choose the things we want to do. I mean, that's why faith is difficult to give because it comes with free will and decision to do so. Above all, I will never change my faith and the things I believe in. As far as I know, God is the bestest among the best.
