Are you proud to be one of the filipino? Are you proud to live in this country? For me , yes of course.. even though philippines have lots of problems that our government can't solve fast, i'm still proud to be a filipino citizen! How about you? I wanna have your opinoins guys and let's make this thread to the top! So that other of our co-filipino's will see this category and join us here..! And make this category active as like other categories!! Happy mylotting and keep posting mates...

i am proud to be a Filipino. there are even instances where i think that the Philippines is blessed despite the economic and political turmoil we're experiencing. i like our culture. i like our lifestyle. and eventhough the prices are high, i still am proud of the filipino products. as in! i sure do miss the philippines!

Definitely! 
Filipinos have already shown through the different murky events in our history that we are tough and we can face challenges. I believe that with proper motivation and focus, we can excel. We are our own supermen, knowing how to prevail during the roughest days. Go Philippines!

DEFINITELY. Okay, let's do away with the negatives first. Yes, the people running our government leave a lot to be desired. There are problems left and right and majority of Filipinos feel their needs (the most basic ones, at least) are being neglected. There is corruption, palakasan, pakikisama and all other traits that often make it difficult to progress.
But on the bright side, what do we have to offer? Filipinos are a resilient people. Throw in calamities and disasters and we still find the silver lining behind very dark clouds. Filipinos are very talented and creative people. What we lack are opportunities and necessary support to develop all these untapped potentials.
We have a beautiful country. If you've been everywhere but around the country, shame on you. It is your duty as Filipinos to discover the wonders of our country and share it with others so we can help promote a positive image for the Philippines. We have beaches, natural attractions, a hospitable people and delicious food.
And let's face it: we are a spoiled people. Here at home, if we just put our minds to it, we will never really go hungry because someone, somewhere will be willing to lend a hand. So there... I AM PROUD TO BE A FILIPINO.

I still am proud to be one. :) It's more of the way we carry on life despite the hardships, and the way we put on our smiles regardless of the difficulties.
Proud to be pinoy.
