I have just recently joined the blogging world thanks to the influence of my friend. I have revived my 3-year old content-less blog just last August 31 and now, it is running and trying to build traffic. Do you also do blogging? Is it for fun or for business?

I started using my first blog six months ago and it has been useful for getting new referrals and for promoting my work. I have just started a additional blog which I will post on every day, rather than once or twice a week. I am hoping I will make a little extra income from it when it has been around for a while and is getting some traffic. My first blog has quite a good PR so I will try the same techniques to promote my second one.

Wow I can't imagine myself managing two or more blogs. Mind if you share your personal suggestions on how to have a higher PR or higher ratings? Hehe.

Adding fresh original content to the blog regularly helps with search engine results, and using good keywords in tags and titles. Mostly though I did it by having links back to my blog from big high traffic sites, like myLot (profile), Qassia, YouCubez, signature links in busy forums and on profile pages of other networking and community sites. These are all quality sites and having backlinks on them really did help.

Yeah I agree. The hardest thing in blogging is finding traffic... Tsk tsk. . What's your blog's url? So that I could visit. :)

I love to blog and blog on my company's corporate site, but I do not see any free blog sites available anywhere. Are you aware of any free blog sites available where in I can join and start blogging during my free time. Also, let me know if this site would pay for blogging. Cheers! Ram

Hello. I am currently using www.blogger.com. I guess most bloggers also do. There's also www.wordpress.com. Just find out which you want. There are loads more out there... Have fun!

I'm using a free blog site with a profit sharing scheme that distributes half the site's revenues back to bloggers. There is a link from my profile.

I am a blogger too! My older brother introduced me to the blogosphere even though he doesn't even own a blog! He was going to make his own blog for making money online, but he figured that he'd be too busy to maintain one, so he told me of his plans. So I made his plans into action, without him knowing that I have already withdrawed some of the money I earned online. Thanks to my brother, I have a new hobby and a new source of income. :)
