We all know that milk is veg.
But i am well confused.Milk is a fluid which comes from an animal(saycow, goat).Still we consider milk as veg......
If that is the case can we consider egg as a veg?
I know this is a foolish question. But i am well confused.

Hello,Subeesh! Milk is vegetarian and egg is non-vegetarian as the chicken is in the egg which comes after hatching.but the milk has nothing in it,it can not produce any living thing.thanx.

Actually there is a sect of people who believe that dairy products including milk are not vegetarian. I think they are called Vegans and Vegan food is bereft of any dairy products just due to the confusion that you have mentioned.
Traditionally, Milk has been considered Vegetarian as there is no direct offspring expected from it like eggs. But in today's world where the eggs are also such that offsprings cannot come out of them, I am not sure if they should be considered non-veg any more.
Cheers!

Eggs, I should say should be considered a non-veg food. If you are a vegetarian, you should only consume plant based products. Apparently, eggs are not.
