well, i can't live without internet and without electricity. i just like to go to the country side for a short trip only and not live there permanently. unless all the convenience that i have in the city is there too.. happy mylotting!

Hi there kenchiprincess! It would definitely be great to have the best of both worlds. I grew up in a city and have seen all the good and bad things about living in a city. I do go to the countryside once in a while and have seen the good and the bad things about the countryside. When I was younger, I spent most of my summers in the countryside. I love it there. I love to be in the countryside to relax and enjoy a laid back lifestyle. But I also have to be in the city where my work is.

I would prefer to live in the country than in the city. Country living is peaceful, air is fresh, you can make a garden and plant vegetables and anything you want to plant. Neighbors in the country are very different in the city. City life is so taxing. Noisy, dirty and not a good place to hang around. there are many bad elements int he city. Snatchers, addicts, killers, robbers and etc. I really love country life. Green trees, mountains and crystal clear water.

I have it half and half. I live in the suburbs of a city, and am surrounded by countryside. I love it. I love the city I live in so much, and I think I'll always love it.

i have to admit that i like both places. i would love to live by a body of water and not have to worry about anything, but i also like the business and the variety that a city gives you. i have lived in both places and am not sure what i would choose now.

I will take the country life. I now live in the country. Some of my best memories are when i was a child growing up in Iowa and lived on a farm. I have lived in cities and hate it for raising children. My daughter and grandchildren are staying with us and i love the safe feeling we have here. I do miss sometimes that it takes so much time when you have to go shopping. But i work in a bigger town and they have everything i need there. So that helps. Its great to sit outside in the lawn chairs and see the millions of stars. You can hear coyotes early evening and early mornings. Its a peacefulness i never found in town.

In both the options there are merits and demerits. If you choose city life you have to forgo the clean and fresh air and atmosphere and simple life where no rush no fast life hustles and bustles traffic jams etc. If you opt for the country side life you have to forgo the facilities available in the cities and if you need some specif think or product you have to rush to the city. Rather I would like to opt for the suburbans surrounding the cities. How do you like it please comment.

your right it would be best to live in suburban areas and just enjoy things as it is... it doesn't really matter where we live as long as we are happy and we are with the ones that we love. thanks for the post!!!

I think that both sides have their good points. I have lived in a city atmosphere for a good part of my life. Some country areas. I now live in Alabama away from city life. You really need a car to get around here. There is a down town area but I don't get out there too much. I used to visit the city a lot not too long ago when I lived up north. City life can be hectic and as I have grown older I enjoy the quaint country life because it can be very calming.

I think there r many facilities in city life which u can't get in the village. But sometimes the country life seems more enjoyable, specially the grreenery, blue sky or clean air etc. But u can't deny your habit or instrincts. As, I live in a town I always have a wish to live a simple country life. but, I know that as I am habituated in city life and it's facilities, I can't go to a village and live there for long.
