Hey friends all of most of us use Anti viruses and Internet security software's on our PC's and laptops to protect it from viruses, trojens, worms etc.
Which anti virus have you installed on your PC and why do you prefer that over the others? I guess seeing all the responses would be a good way to help people select a good anti virus if they aren't using the best and optimum one for their PC's at the moment.
So go ahead and share with us your views, opinions and comments.

i tried different anti-virus software for my pc before i finally purchased the one i'm now using..
i used avg8 free and later avg8 90daytrial but was dismayed because it did not catch the virus on my flashdrive.. (i lend my flashdrive to my friend having avast!free installed and it detected the virus).. later i also installed avast! and still some viruses are not detected or cannot clean/erase..
that's why i decided to buy mcafee 12in1.. so far it's holding up..
i heard eset smart security is also good but cost more than the mcafee.. (maybe later i can try it if mcafee fails me..)
for my macbook, i use a free anti-virus xclam..

Hey there...I've tried quite a few different anti-virus programs over the years...But Norton seems to be the only one that works perfectly for me...Aside from slowing down your computer a little, it's totally worth it...

I use the free version of AVG 8.0. 169. I love it because it is easy to install even if you're not a techie, you can do it by yourself. I love the fact that aside from the anti-virus, it also have anti-spyware. Constant updates are also available. Others experienced crash & slowing downs with this version, but I havent so, Im putting my trust on it.
