How is your weather?

In the part of the midwest where I live we seem to be having a heat wave. The temperatures have been hovering around the 90* mark for the last few days and everyone's complaining about the heat. As for me, I've been staying indoors because I do no feel my best when the weather gets too hot. I was curious as to how many of you are experiencing below average, normal, or above normal temperatures for this time of year.

Judging by our weather we have already hit autumn/fall, but hey that's not so unusual we usually have four seasons in one month! Our Summer has been one of the worst for over a hundred years and we are experiencing the affects of global warming, our Summers are terrible, rain and wind! Today it's been windy but the sun has tried to come out. This is ironic in the papers on Saturday one of our South coast beaches was so packed there was hardly any room left! Sunday it was empty, no one on it at all because the weather turned drastically! We are definitely below normal temperatures here in the UK.

I know all about your "miserable" English weather, friend. Still, I think I could get used to it. I think our summer has been pretty mild but there are some who disagree with me. I am happy to say that following an early night and good rest I am feeling much better than yesterday. Thank you for being so kind to ask!

We experienced a very rainy day today. It's real cool out tonight and terribly humid. Believe the temperature tonight is around 62 degrees. Think it's suppose to heat back up this weekend and be sunny. Glad to hear this since a big golf tournament is being hosted in St. Louis. They had to cancel it today. It won't get real cool here until next month. I already dread the snow.

I hear ya about snow. I don't like to drive in it anymore. Didn't use to bother me but that was when I was working. Now I worry about our kids being out driving around in the snow. Been real cool here.

I have no gripe with the snow, carolbee, so long as I don't have to go out in it. I agree that we are gradually cooling down somewhat.

Autumn leaves - This is a picture of some leaves.
I live in Alabama right now. It has been pretty hot and humid here lately and we have gotten slight side effects from the hurricane that recently came up the coast headed for Louisiana. We might be expecting more hurricanes south of us to rise up soon. It has been raining a lot lately. But today is a pretty nice day. Sunshine and humid. I am looking forward to autumn.

I, too, am looking forward to the autumn season -my favorite -and our weather has been much the same as yours. We are expecting sporadic thunderstorms today also, bamakelly.

Here in the uk the weather is dreadful! Its cool, wet and grey. For the last 2 years our summers have been pretty dire, hardly any sunshine and lots of rain. So much for global warming lol our summers used to be hot so i think the uk is having the reverse and infact we have a phenomenon called global COOLING!

I don't know that I subscribe to the theory of global warming, Beaver, but there's never a dull moment where the weather is concerned. How do you feel about weather manipulation? Nice avatar!

Ah, the forecasters can not always predict the weather correctly, shana, and we often get more than we bargained for.

For awhile there we were experiencing relatively pleasant weather...still on the hot side but the humidity was way low...starting tomorrow the forecast says we're going to have Florida type weather..that is really humid and in the 90s again...nuts!

It is raining here right now. But when the rain stops, we are in the 27 to 30 degrees C. We still can manage the heat but it is getting worser and worser thru the years. Result of the global warming that we are talking and hearing about.

Very true and especially true in the midwest. Depending on which way the wind is blowing we can get the remnants of one or more tropical storms, etc. coming from elsewhere.

It is supposed to get to 96 today, and tomorrow is suppose to be 90. For the rest of the week it doesn't look too bad, near the high 80's. We are also suppose to be getting some rain and storms. They always say that though, almost every week are suppose to get storms. September is usually still hot for us and in October it will sometimes start to cool off some. I am actually looking forward to October because of the weather and Halloween. I don't know though, sometimes our weather is weird. For a couple of days it will be hot and then a couple of days it will be cool. I am just glad summer is almost over, it was really hot there for a while. Some days were in the high 90's even in the 100's.

When is too hot people complain 'cause is too hot, when is to cold people complain 'cause is too cold. I live in England and we have seen just few sunny days this year. More worse I haven't been able to go holiday this year so it sucks. Anyway, I hope the weather freshen up a little over your side of the world. All the best worldwise1...
