Why some girls love men who are much older than them?

Except for money and status, some girls do love men who are much older than them. I can't comprehend. When i was just 22 years old, my girl friend separate with me. Several months later one of my friend said that he saw she with a man who almost seemed as old as her father.
Why some girls love men who are much older than them?

my bf is 32 and I am 23 that makes it 9 years gap. Its not about money nor status. I am a registered nurse and I am paid well in my job and he is a team supervisor in one of the american companies here in the Philippines. THat makes both of us income generating.
I fell in love with him because he was my good friend.. he was always there for me. Plus he is mature and can handle my childish attitude and my tantrums.. hehe
he is a very responsible man and he doesnt look old coz he is an athelete. I am very happy with him and we complement each other.

girls like older than them in my short yet informative opinion the like old men because they believed that with old men can really handle there relationship because most of the girls now don't know how to handle relationship that would lead to the relation break.. and also they like old men because they had more experience in handling the relation and the girl itself..
