For me, race has nothing to do with it. I tend to vote republican but have voted democrat in the pst. The clincher for me was the fast that he obstained from voting yes or no on legalizing partial-birth abortion which is when they inject the baby's skull with formaldahyde or squeeze the skull while the baby is crowning. It is still considered an abotion, not murder, because the infant never had the opportunity to take it's first breath. To me this should have been an easy 'no' vote! The only thing that's worse than than a 'yes' vote is a wishy-washy politician that doesn't have a backbone to vote at all. That's why I'm not voting for him. I wish I had a better choice than McCain.

I'm voting for a third party candidate. Haven't decided which one yet. I am not voting for obama because he is inexperienced. I don't like his wife. He's a great speaker and seems to be a good person, but that doesn't mean he could run the country. I'm not voting for McCain because he has waffled on the side of the Religious right and that annoys me. I will vot e for whatever third party candidate will protect my family. Neither Rep or Dem give a crap out me. They are too focused on the party platform.

I'm not voting for him because he's a socialist. I wouldn't vote for any of them. I haven't voted for a democrate since 1980.

I am not voting for Obama because he is black, I am voting for him because I like his hair cut. He also uses big words and sounds like he knows what hes talking about. And his name is fun to say. OoooooooBAMa..... Oh but the main reason I'm voting for him is because he's black.

i most likely will be voting for obama just because the last thing we need in office is another republican president. bush has ruined this country and i dont think anyone in his party will bring around enough change to make a difference.

I'm not voting for Obama because he's black. Actually I'm black and I would be very happy to have a black president. I just don't believe that he would be a good president. I don't see much experience with him and he really hasn't said anything that he plans on changing or that beliees that I agree with. I don't think that you should vote for someone because they are black or white or whatever or because of their party. You should vote for someone based on how you believe that they would think they would change the world. I know that my grandparents are voting for him because of him being black and because of him being democrat. I though on the other hand plan on voting for McCain, I think that he would be better at changing things then Obama would.
