I'm ELATED! I can now officially say that I am writing for a living. I AM ON CLOUD 9!!!
It's actually an academic piece, still far from the more creative ones I'm really wishing to get but the more practice I have writing the better I'd get right? It's my dream job!
How about you myLotters? what's the job that would you go "WOOHOO!!!"?

good for you.. congratulations! i would love to write professionally. as i've been saying for the nth time. anyway, i hope i can do that someday... still need practice though. i don't let anyone read my writings.

Well, I have submitted some of my stuff to Associated Content, and gotten paid from doing this, but I am eventually wanting to branch out more, and earn better from submitting my stuff elsewhere. I guess I just need to try submitting some of my work elsewhere someday, and see what happens.

Well done. I hope you have continued success with your work. It really is great to be paid for doing something you like to do.
I am always overjoyed when my work is accepted and I'm paid for it. I am earning every day from my article writing now, and I'm gradually building up a monthly income from it. It is my aim to earn enough to live on eventually.
Freelance writing is a highly competitive market and requires active participation. Success comes to those who work hard to match their skills to various publishers requirements and the rewards are relative to the time and commitment put into writing.

Good for you! Any step in the right direction is a positive one. As you build your experience, opportunities will open up for you.
My life's desire is also to make a full-time living as a writer. Of course I would love to be the next Danielle Steele (wouldn't we all?) but even if I can make a steady income from my writing I would consider my career a success.
