Taking the GMAT soon... any suggestions?

Has anyone taken the GMAT at all recently? I am taking it soon, and wondering how people prepared for it. I have bought the practice book and have a disk with practice tests on it. I was wondering how "realistic" these test are compared to the real one. And if anyone had other study techniques what they did?
