Nodes in my thyroid

I have nodes in my thyroid and according to my doctor it's a cyst he said that I must undergo for a fine needle biopsy. I am so afraid coz and up to now I didn't follow his advice. Do you know any alternative treatment for this or any herbs that might help me? Thanks.
