I was wondering if anyone had any good writing companies that will pay you for your submissions for short stories and things of that nature?
Here is what I mean:
I love to write stories but I never really have any one topic to write about and they are fictional stories - just make them as I write. The fun ones are when I can just type away and not have to worry about what type of story it is until the end. I wrote about crayons once lol
So does anyone have any sites that I can join that would help me with my stories?

I do have a list of sites that pay you to write that you can view here
www.squidoo.com/writingfulltime
For fiction, I think the ones that are there on my list include Helium, Associated Content, Triond, Storymash, Qassia, and Constant Content.
Most of these sites pay on a revenue generated per view basis, except Constant Content. Associated Content does pay upfront for articles from US residents (which I see you are from your profile), but I think they don't pay upfront for fiction.

If you like writing reviews, I would suggest "Review Stream". You can write brief reviews on a variety of topics, things you come across in your day-to-day activities, and get paid for them. I have been writing reviews for the last three months now and happy working with it. Take a look at their website : reviewstream.com
