What a chitty evening so far

I hate it when that happens. I usually reset everything too and defrag and scan and then reboot again just to see if that works. Sometimes it does, and other times, its not my computer but the Internet Service Provider (so I've been told by hubby LOL).

Does the weather your having ever mess up your connection? I know whenever its rainy and cloudy here, my computer gets slower, and the internet doesn't work very fast, and it will take longer for pages to load up. Just a thought...

I wonder if that means they are paying out early. I always have those problems when they are paying out. Also other glitches. I have had some problems today, but I was blaming them on some other stuff.

I have noticed from the beginning that mylot has always been slower loading then other pages. I must admit, when I am busy or tired I am just too impatient to come here. I have cable and I am running with 11n and a pretty new computer so my pages are loading pretty fast...until I come to mylot then slow would be an improvement.

Hi Grandpa Bob, It was not you only, me too. I just responded to a similar discussion by Patsie so that makes at least 3 of us who were affected. Things were pretty bad for me then. I took forever to load the pages and I almost gave up trying to comment on my discussions. I did persevere though but that only set me into a foul mood. Anyway, I am glad the speed is back to normal again. Phew!

Haha, I hear you, except it doesn't seem any slower than usual to me, maybe because my computer is slow in the first place..In case you missed it, I downgraded to windows 98 until my computer is fixed..I can't even watch videos, actually I take that back, I can watch them, but with no sound..

Hi, Bob I was having all kinds of problem last night. they kept telling me I need Foxfire 3 I couldn't download it. I have a Windows 98 i have to upgrade my computer, and don't have the money right now. Have a good day!

Some times Mylot can be really slow and even though we have DSL Elite, which is the fastest speed, It can be really frustrating. It has to do with their server not with your computer.

I have not had that problem on mylot today but have on other pages. Sometimes when mine does that I notice that my anti virus is either running a scan or updating. Sorry but I have no idea what to tell you and it seems like you have done a lot to try to correct this from happening.

LOL you are not the only one that is having this problem because I have just responded to another discussion of a member who is having exactly the same problem! So it is probably just myLot and nothing else, I occasionally get this problem but have not had it for a while. I get really frustrated with it and end up having to leave it and do something else or else I would just get really cross.

hi GrandpaBob yes today and last night mylot is just creeping along, its not my computer as other sites are fast enough but mylot is just superslow today. I have dsl and still its just slower than molasses in January. I hate it when I can get up and get a glass of water, and get back, sit down and still the page has not loaded. grrr. makes me so irritated. Usually by this time of day I am over my quota but wont be tonight, already five o clock and its still slow. good thing I am going out in a little while so I wont be sitting here stewing again. lol. good luck and God Bless.

Recently it often happened,this is not your computer problem or DSL problem,maybe mylot server have some problem,although mylot load a bit slowly,it doesn't affect we post and respond at all,keep posting,this proble will be slove soon.

Hi GRANDPA BOB. I was responding to you saying about your computer reloading and reseting your DSL connections and how Mylot page was so slow, right in the middle posting to you, my internet was disconneted, I shut it all down and wait half hour and logged on again but nothing, I tried several time but to avail so I switched off and went to bed rather angry, now I ave just logged on and it all fine for the moment and I hope its stays that way. Well I have had DSL and Cable Modem in the past.. and right now i am on Dail up,,,, Need I say more......I have days that I want to pull my hair out!!

Well I don't think we can blame it on our Computers and ISP's. We can blame it on myLot servers for sure. I also was having an issue like this, and it does make it hard to post in here for sure. It gets to the point where why should we even bother posting when it is like this. Maybe it is time for myLot to do an add on for their memory, etc. to make it easier on us.

I hope it has sorted Grandpa Bob but I have to admit that I had that problem a lot with mylot as well and also other social Sites, I think it could be because of the usage on the Site at the time

Hi Bob its really pity. Well let me find anyone who like it when download is REAL SLOW.well DSL isa really a nice connection, but its strange that only mylot is acting like this, i have doal up and its spped is Ok most of the time Take care

I also experience that sometimes, but I blame it with my internet connection or something with the routing. Sometimes I would have to wait until the connection is good so I can enjoy myLot more. Have a nice day!
