true friends

I have lots of acquaintances but only a few true friends. I've been in isolation not by choice and didn't have the freedom to make lots of friends. So the friends have made recently o truly value. We don't always agree but we love each other for who we are.

I totally agree.
I am a very warm & friendly person, but circumstances brought me to a place where I have tested who my real friends are. So here I am with so many acquaintances but my real friends are so few. Thats why I held them close to my heart and I love them so dearly.

So what are the qualities that make you keep them around? What are the qualities that make you ditch them??

I dont actually ditch them but we kinda drifted apart. I always try to keep in touch and made them feel my presence in their lives but then its just a one way effort. Seems to me that some of them dont value friendship as much as I do...
But the few remaining ones, they are worth keeping. I can trust them with anything.They are not prejudice, i can speak up and be myself without the fear of being judged.
I guess those are the qualities that matters to me.
