My daughter is 4 years old. The only child and grandchild! So she is extremely spoiled- but yet a very good child! For her birthday last month- she got a Wii and a Yorkshire Terrier. We can take her to Toys R Us and she can't find a toy she wants; she says "I have it all." I asked her what she wanted and she answered "I don't know. Nothing" I am about clueless as to what to get her- I can't get her the nothing she asks for her! We have donated like 3 or 4 garbage bags full of toys to our local charity since last Christmas. The thing is- she isn't like a lot of kids... she doesn't care for toys too much. She is always playing on the lap top (the internet at kid's web sites), or helping me do whatever I am doing. She doesn't real care to play with toys. She won't play with herself or go upstairs to her toy room by herself, which makes it harder on me and makes her more of an adult than a kid. Any ideas for a 4 year old like her? Please, do not give me rude responses! Thank you!

Well, since you said she likes to use the laptop maybe you should get her a few educational games for her to play while she is on there. There are some that are really fun to play and it would kind of trick her into learning. Maybe some books or puzzles or even a paint set. My son like Play Doh at her age.

I think, you can have educational and learning books or supplies that will caught her attention and will challenge her ability. As i think to her, she's a fast learner and she always look for other things that will challenge her intelectual intellegence. Why you don't try also to bring her in a place she wanted to go and that will enhance her...like in zoo...i think she'll be love to see lots of animals...I hope i helped you in my suggestions...Goodluck!!!happy mylotters!
