are you comfortable with the name your parents gave you?

This is an off shoot of another topic. I was always worried about the female sounding name that my parents gave me, when I was in school. I used to dream of different names. Most of such names would be of the heroes of that story, or of the movie, which has been a hit, during that time. Now, that I am known by the same name, I seldom think of changing it. I just re-arrange the alphabets of the name, and make that sound differently. lols How about you?

chaitra.. it is really great that you have been followed by VASANTHA. it is really a very rare combination. HOW could you find each other? I am surprised at the coincidence. May I have the honor of your friendship? Not just for namesake. thankyou for commenting here. Convey my respects to VASANTHA also.

I don't really mind my name, although some people expect me to act a certain way because of it. My name is Angel. People either expect me to be a goody-two-shoes, or a wild child...lol. I'm actually somewhere in the middle, probably closer to the goody-two-shoes side according to most people. I asked my Mom why she named me Angel and she laughed. She said she was hoping...lol.

Thank you. Most people like my name. I have met four other women with the name Angel in my lifetime, and a few guys. With Spanish speaking people, Angel is often a man's name.

hi, THANKS! Well Padme, do you watch Star Wars? Padme is the wife Anankin Skywalker who became Darth Vader. Padme is her name when she is not Queen Amidala.
