I have always thought I have a great sense of humour but here people seem to have strange ones, Im not sure if it is the language barrier or the fact we all come from different cultures but whenI say something funny people dont get it!
How can we get through this problem, without offending people?

You know AbbeyB there are a lot of people here with different word meanings even if they are using english as a first language and then there are people from countries with different languages so sometimes it just is a misunderstanding, Then there is the fact that when we are typing people cannot hear our tone , our inflections or see our expressions. I think once you get used to the site and meet some of the wonderful people here you will soon see people beginning to understand - honest! xxx

Well maybe people just don't understand what you're saying. Just as you said, the language barrier is one of those things whose make people don't understand a joke or something.
Well this is quite universal I think as almost every country has his own language.

Virtually it is a language problem. people here at my lot are from different parts of the world and living in different cultures. I think members at my lot are very nice and are cooperative and help ful to each. I have so many time sought help and it always come. It is nice to be at my lot. Have nice day comment.
