How to verify a Paypal account?

I have signed up for a Paypal account but my account is not verified yet. Is it ncecesary to a credit card for verification. If yes, giving credit card details will make any problem in future. Actually I wanted to link up with my bank but my paypal id name and the name in the bank account are different. Is it makes any problem or should I open a new account with the same name in Paypal id. I think most of the mylotters are experienced so I will get a detailed answer. So thanks in advance to everybody.

Erm, to withdraw your money from Paypal into your bank account requires both the names of your Paypal account and your bank account to be the same. If not, your bank will reject the incoming wire transfer or bank transfer jsut like my bank! My bank actually told me this, there are so many Angelias out there, how are we supposed to know if this money is really supposed to be yours! So, if you can, try to recitify this problem with Paypal and change your name to the one of your bank account.
And yes, it is neccessary for you to have a credit or debit card for verification purposes. What happens is that they would deduct $3 USD? from your bank/credit account, and return it back to you upon entering the verification code from Paypal as per your bank/credit card statement.
Why would it be a problem for you to link your credit card? You can link and remove the card after verification. lol, that should about solves all problems and you do in fact get your account verified at the same time! And it still much safer than to enter our credit card details every now and then everytime we make a transaction online!

yes you need a credit card to verify your paypal account. it charges $1.95 to your card and then once you receive the bank statement, check the code found near the word paypal in your bank statement. you should use that code to verify your account. once your account is verified, they will refund the $1.95.

yes sreekala you need your account to be verified and it is necessary that you should provide your credit or a debit card.. and intially you will charged less than $2.. i dont think paypal will create any problem for you as all are registered with it and doing all transcations through that

I have an account in Paypal but it is not verified yet. Because I don't have a bank account. If I earned in mylot and I reached the minimum payout will they still send it although my account in Paypal is not verified?

It is not necessary to link your credit card unless and until you willimg to do bigger transaction i mean more than 500$ per month. if you want to lift that limit them you will have to verify ur credit card.
