Great New Bands

I am really into discovering new, off the beaten path bands. I was listening to the Fratellis when their CD had just hit the states, and Citizen Cope before "Brother Lee" was a hit single. Now I've discovered another great new band. They're called "The Heavy," and their sound is out of this world. If you like Citizen Cope, then you will love these guys. They have the same kind of rawness as "Cope," but their beats are a bit more on target as his song "107." The album is "Great Vengeance and Furious Fire," check it out you will not be disappointed.
Now its your turn, I threw you guys a freebie, tell me about some band you've discovered that are the next big thing.

I have some songs by Citizen Cope and The Fratellis on my Ipod. And I'm really into looking up bands that I've never heard of. I can't say whether or not they're new, but they are new to me. Recently I have learned about these bands:
Arcade Fire
The Apples In Stereo
Badly Drawn Boy
Blonde Redhead
Broken Social Scene
Crooked Fingers
The Folk Impression

i'm down for some freash NEW music. now ya have to remember i grew up in the 60's and have 4 older bro's and 3 older sister's i have been listen to music (all genras) all my life REALLY! but it sounds like you may have the hook up so i'm gonna go check these bands out that you have talkd about .
