I open my eyes very carefully when in the shower because the water stings my eyes. I suspect that it might be the chlorine. I've never tried sitting in the shower. If I have to sit, I'll just take a bath.

no, i bathe with my eyes open. i close them only when i am shampooing my hair . otherwise, they are always open. never felt like that. i sit under the shower on sundays as it is a holiday and i have scope to go for a lavish bath.other days, it is cut short to a maximum of 5-7minutes..

[b]hmmm.... when i use the shower of my bathroom i normally close my eyes because it hurts when the drops of the shower falls into your eyes due to its pressure. hahaha! i enjoy shower so much that i could stay long from 30 mins to 45 minutes bathing.
take care and God bless!

Well the only time I really close my eyes during a shower is if I am washing my head or letting the water run on my head. I am not able to open my eyes very easiely in the water. I have sat in the shower and let the water spray down on me, especially if I have a headache it helps me to relax and feel better. Other than that i ususlaly to not sit while taking a shower.

I usually don't open my eyes.. I'm to afraid of getting soap/shampoo into my eyes, don't like the pain that cames after :P
That I can remember I only took a shower while sitting once. I had a ugly wound on my foot I needed to keep it dry, so I sat on the bathtub with my foot hanging out in the air, out of the bathtub.. It wasn't a happy experience, I tell you!
