Watching movie in cinema or theater is more interesting than watch is at home with our dvd player or computer. Because the atmosphere is more pleasure, for example when the scene is at funny time. Everyone in the cinema will laugh together, so it seems more real to me.
But it will different when I watch a bore movie, I try to sleep in the cinema but it's very hard, because I sleep with sit position. So I just can grumble in my head and my mind is far away from there.
So do you ever sleep while watching movie in cinema? if yes, at what movie and can you get up on time with the end of the movie ?
if not, do you feel like me, can't sleep in there? So what will you do?

i dont really feel sleepy when i am in the cinema. well, maybe partly because cinema is very expensive so sleeping their is just very impractical!hahaha well, also, i choose movies that i really like, i dont watch movies that are not that interesting.. i usually fell asleep watching movies at home, when i watch DVDs. but not at the movie house. i dont watch in the cinemas alone. i am usually with my group of girlfriends or with my boyfriend..

The last movie my boyfriend and I watched in the cinema was The Dark Knight and OMG I fell asleep and missed a lot of part.I got bored watching it and part of it is that I just got out from work so I guess I was tired as well and loved the feeling of the aircon and found myself sleeping on my boyfriends shoulder. When I woke up it was in the part when Joker had the hospital blown and turned down. Then my boyfriend fell asleep too when I was already awake and watching the film...Moral of the story..don't ever watch a film when you are tired and read all the reviews of the film that you are going to watch to check if it's boring or not.

Yeah, i did doze off once in the cinema when i was watching, The aviator.. lol =D
The movie is so boring that my fren fall asleep when it's only 30mins into the movie, and 15mins later, i start to join her to sweet dreams land, along with other movie goers.. lol =D That goes to show that how bored the movie is.. haha
But luckily i wake up b4 the movie ends and i wake her up, asking her to leave since we dun wanna watch the movie.. haha =D I guess it's partly due to, the aviator, is not the actual movie we wanna watch that day, but because of the tickets being sold out, we have no choice.. lol

Ya Lot of time. Most of the time when I go to movie with friends. Usually they will drag me to those movies I dont like. Speailly some lave based movie which will be a remake of some other movie. Boring, They are all boring for me. I love action, horror, Thriller and Comedy movies, not romantic one ( But there are some exceptional love based movies, that i do wacth quite often.). I still remember once i slept for whole movie from start of the movie to end. It was a kannada movie 'Green Signal'.

LOL. yeah. I've done that with my boyfriend. he asked me to watch a movie, but then I am so tired from work, and can't help but to sleep inside the theater. he wake me up when the movie was already finished. he told me that I should be with him at the first place if I will just sleep. I really feel sorry, and told him that I am so sleepy and tired from work.
the movie isn't boring, it's just that I am so tired at that time.

I don't think I have ever slept in the cinema, but that would be hard for me to do because I can't sleep sitting up, and it would also be a waste of a ticket. If the movie was too boring I would just leave =/

I never get sleep in a cinema. Usually I only will go to cinema if I like that movie. I don't waste my money by sleeping at the cinema.

YES- I took my daughter to see the movie RENT and it was soo boring I fell asleep. That was one of the most boring movies I have seen. There have been a few others. It's ok to fall asleep in a boring movie, especially if the theater is not jam packed.

I had experienced sleeping in the cinema/movie house many times already... Actually, I am not sleeping because the movie is boring but I just got to sleep.. I'll just put my head on the shoulder of my boyfriend then until I finally got to sleep.. Well, my boyfriend will woke me up if he saw me sleeping already because he knows that later my neck will be hurt since I am sleeping while sitting..

I only have one time. It was during the Pelican Brief. I was 13 and not feeling so hot so we went to K mart first to get some Excedrin. My step mom told me to get the caffeine free kind, so I grabbed the first one I saw that said caffeine free. Well what I forgot to read was that it was "PM" so I slept the whole movie.

I like the atmosphere in cinema as well. Before decide to watch movie in cinema, I'd like to check the fresh movie list to find the absorbing one. This step wil help me to make a choice and decrease the possibility to watch a boring movie. I WON'T sleep in cinema but enjoy the watching experience. Btw, it's a pity to hear grunt at the same time.

I have not been to the cinema for ages. I usually watch movies on TV, the Internet or DVD or VCD. So I don't have this problem. But my mother usually falls asleep while she is watching TV. I ask her why and my mom says that it aids her to fall asleep soon by way of watching TV. It is really interesting of my mom.

Hi winzpc,
I love going to the cinemas. I have never tried to sleep in the cinema because then the ticket pay would be a waste. If the movie was boring then I just try to watch it anyway thinking I would tell people not to watch it! LOL
However, I have dozed off once because the night earlier I slept so late so I didn't have enough sleep cos the next day I had to wake up early then a friend suggested to watch Bewitched, the one with nicole kidman. She also insists on paying for it. I didn't think I would doze off anyway since I like watching movies at the cinema. But the movie was too boring and I was too tired. I really was trying not to show my friend that I was dozing off cause she paid for my ticket, I would not want her to say anything bad about me as her accompany and a friend to watch the movie with. But I couldn't cause I was dozing off till the movie ended. LOL. opppss. Anyway happy mylotting :)

I have never acutually tried to fall asleep at the movie theater but I did doze off while there once with my husband. I was not felling well my head hurt but I went with him anyway thinking that by the time we got there I would feel better, I did not so when the movie started I closed my eyes for what I thought would be just a few moments and the next thing I know the credits are rolling and the lights came back on. On a good note I did feel better after the movie and was able to enjoy dinner.
