I have no idea how old I was when I had my first sip. I didn't really drink on my own till I was 18. But my parents were pretty laid back and I remember them letting us have a sip of their drinks when we wondered what it tasted like. So I'm not sure what age they let us do that.

I feel Drinking is really a addiction and not easy to quit all of sudden. But good thing is there are many rehabilition center for helping to get rid of these habits. to make a great change in life..I dont drink but i helped my friends and few of them quit addiction to drinks

I was fifteen when I had my first drink, well actually it was more than a drink I got absolutely sozzled. I had been invited to a school friends party, my parents were not going to let me go, but my friend got her mum to phone my mum and make out it was not a party with booze etc and that I could stay over. So, I was allowed to go hee hee. I lasted all of an hour I reckon before I passed out in the kitchen, but it was a good night from what I can remember and I did not have a hangover the next day either, much. I also never touched another drop of drink until I was 19.

Hi vinesh, well i had a cup at 16 when i just about complete my SSLC with school mates, it was really nice and we had less money to spare for food also. so its was a time where we could afford for drink or food.
