how do some users get so many posts to their discussions? I have noticed that some users have gotten over one hundred responses. How do they get so many?

because it always goes in the "most reccent discussions" category.. if they responded on your post try commenting on them once in every 30 mins... this works well with me

I have had the same questions about why some users get so many responses. I have posted discussions that I thought were good without hardly any responses also. I am beginning to think that the key is to have a lot of friends and comment on their discussions and they in turn comment on yours and that should help with responses some.

I think they post either interesting discussions that hit the bull eye of people's passions or common problems that anyone can relate to. Also, they comment on the responses often too -that helps.

I have noticed that if I actually reply to everyone who posts I do get more posts to my discussion

Many people seem to post a question that is easy to answer (with either yes/no or one word), so a lot of people post on it to bump up their points and theoretically get more money. However, myLot has stated that these are against guidelines and the posts will be deleted, so the person that started the post will have their points adjusted based on the deleted threads each month.

They post topics that they know people will answer. Anything controversial or insulting people always gets more responces than other discussions.

I see the ones with the most replies are silly stuff of no value. I see a few have been deleted as well, guess some are using the new feature to report abuse.

It's anybody's guess. I've started quite a few discussions. Some that I thought were good topics got no responses at all. Others got more. I've never managed to come up with a topic that got hundreds of responses, though, and I'm not sure I want one. I get tired of answering all the responses that come in that aren't well thought out and quality answers. People need to only respond to a discussion if they have something to say.
