Who named your children?

My oldest son is named after his uncle, my 2nd son is named after his dad, my daughter is named after my grandmother. I chose their names.

My husband and I named our kids together. I had a giant list of names that I had created over a few years. So we each took a piece of paper and listed our top 5 names. Then we compared lists. Any matches we had were what we chose from then became the names we picked from. Our kids middle names all came from people in our lives that were important to us.

Hubby and I chose the names together. We have two boys and two girls. The eldest girl and youngest boy have a family middle name from my side of the family and the eldest boy and youngest girl have middle names from hubb's side of the family. Our eldest girl is 9 yrs and 11 years older than the other children so she chose a middle name for the younger three children to make her involed with the name choosing

My and my husband choose all of our kids names. With our first two we started a list of names by going throught the alphabet and name off names that started with that particular letter. Then we wrote down the ones that we liked for both boys and girls. From there we picked out about 3 or 4 that we really liked and then we came up with middle names for each. Unknow to us at the time we ended up using two of our 4 girl names in one preganancy since we had twins. For our 3rd we waited along time to come up with a name and I threw a few out to him and he said he liked it so we went with it. We still have boys names left if we ever have one. If we have another girl it will be back to the drawing board.
