does physical appearance really matter?

what attracts you? what grabs your attention? have you met anyone who is totally attractive and thought if he or she is committed to someone their partner must be as hot as he or she is. then when you finally meet them you're like.."WTF?!?! I'm way more hotter than her(him)!" Have you ever been in a similar situation? I met a guy once, he's cute and all but he's so conceited and I hate conceited guys, a major turn off in my book.

It matters only somewhat. If a dude is at least not ugly, it's alright. If I can't stand to look at him, I can't possibly bring myself to talk to him and get to know him at all, which would be the most important thing. It also helps if they smile sometimes, because it makes them more attractive when they are happy and paying attention.

at first, i usually notice guys who have a cute eyes and smile. Once i have a seen a guy who smiles irresistibly. I can't stop myself looking at him. But in a relationship physical appearance absolutely does not matter. Your relationship will not stay longer just because of the fact that your partner is cute.

physical appearance doesnt really matter as long as you are pure hearted then youll be beautiful inside out. Most of men look on the outer beauty.Even if your the most prettiest girl but you dont have brains and attitude is bad then its not worth it to be called beautiful.

I like a hot chick, but she has to be at least a little bit smart and know her stuff, she can't be some stupid bimbo blonde that knows nothing...

I think physical attraction matters more in the beginning of a relationship, but once you get to know the person, you like them for other reasons as well. I'm usually attracted by a man's eyes or smile. I have noticed some couples who don't look like they are equally matched. I guess the saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder is true sometimes. I'm with you on not liking guys who are conceited. It is a major turn off.
