I have a hard time with finding a good book, I'm kinda picky I guess so any suggestions would be great! I hate si-fi, I don't like scary books, but I do like realistic books, I don't like love stories, but also like Christian books. So any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I'm not sure if you are into prehistoric type stories, but try Clan Of the Cave Bear. Its a series of about 5 books and I fell in love with them. Also another type along this line is a series with about 13 books in it so when you start reading again you want to hurry to the next book, but hate to get there so quick at the next time because you don't want the story to end. The author is William Sarabande and teh series is the saga of the first americans. The first book is Beyond the Sea of Ice. Not scary, very realistic and you feel like you are a part of the people in the books. Go to Amazon.com for the best prices, can get the entire set for little money. Hope you have good reading. Peggy

I sometimes have the same problem. Usually I go on Amazon and type in the title of a book that I enjoyed. It will then make suggestions for other books you might like that are similar. You can end up with a lot of suggestions that way. Good luck in your search.

Hm, since you don't like Sci-fi and love stories, the choices were greatly narrowed down. I still haven't read this particular book that I'm going to recommned to you, but from what I've heard, this really is a great book. It's title is 'The Shack' and was written by William P. Young. It's a Christian novel that seeks to provide answers to the always timely question 'Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain?'. I am SO tempted to read it, but my friends think it's 'boring', so I decided not to read it, because when I read, I ask my friends what they think about the book I'm reading.

I love to read... i will have to look for my list though... i usually head to the library and just puruse the isles... off the top of my head though do you like action type books?? I love the TroubleShooters series by suzanne brockman... Its about navy seals , missions etc... it does have some romance but its mainly action... you said you like mystery... have you looked into JD Robb(nora roberts alter ego) she writes mysteries... good luck
