I find my self asking the above question, as the number 1 shopper in our family
I have the "privelege" (for want of a better word) of shopping at not one but two
supermarkets here in good ole Matamata here in Godzone.(New Zealand)
I think myself lucky that over the years I have become familiar with the staff
that inhabit these stores and that in one store in particular I can send both Master 11 and Miss 10 from one end of the supermarket to the other to get whatever is required as they both know what to get, where to get it and at what price!
(My kids are SUPERSHOPPERS!) (for chrissake dont tell anyone!)
Seriously though, the repore that my kids and I have with the majority of staff in these shops is if anything exceptional, and it makes our shopping experience a HEAP more enjoyable.
Even at the checkouts, we as a family have a ball as the majority of the time the checkout operator, or packer or even supervisor we know on a personal basis.
The time it takes to go through the checkout is at a guess halved, as product is scanned, gossip is exchanged and money is transacted, allbeit whilst HUMOR is also being passed from customer to staff and back again!
How do all you other Mylotters get on out there, is it a pleasure shopping for groceries.. or is it just a task?
Can you go into a supermarket and stir the staff up almost to the point that they are rolling round on the floor with laughter?
Or is your shopping experience more "controlled"?

well i'm friendly to all my stores' staff.
they make minimum wage and i'll do whatever i can to NOT give them
any grief.
therefore, they always look happy to see me.
however, i have to lug grocery bags up 2-1/2 flights of stairs
so i don't enjoy any aspect of it
after the cashier says have a good day, SAM.
it's torture after that.
maybe i could have your kids shop for me?

as it could with my kids on board...hit the roof! heheheh
Have an awesome day! MrL®
