Favorite Teacher.....do you have one???

Oh that was too long ago my friend. But certainly if teachers have favorite students, students do also have a favorite teacher. I remember one teacher I had in high school. She was very fond of me. She would call me a woman with brain and mild beauty and she would even announce in front of the class that she wants her son to court me. I would be so embarassed when she would do that. In the first place his son is not my type. Oh No! He was the opposite of my hubby who is of course fair and handsome. Her son is dark and not handsome ( I would not want to say ugly!) But in fairness, this teacher taught so well. She was a good teacher and she really knew her subject and could really communicate. I just could not accept why she kept on announcing in front of the class her likeness for me. My classmates were of course teasing me a lot and I hated it so.

I had and always my favorite teachers/professors when I was in high school and college. I am not a fanatic of science subject but the favorite teacher I had when I was in high school was my science teachers. They were my Chemistry and Earth Science Teachers in high school. Our teachers during our high school days are very cool! They might be strict inside the classroom but after class or outside the school we were like friends and the same age. Whenever our batch has a gathering, they're never be absent! hehehe When I was in college, my favorite professor was my History Prof. For me she is so amazing. She discuss her class without a book infront of her and a very humble person! I loved her coz she gave me the highest grade in our whole class! hahaha. But she's really a great prof! no bias and no favoritism. She is small but terrible like me! nakz!!!

Yes, she was my fifth grade teacher, and she retired a long time ago. She was awesome.

Wow, your teacher is great dong. That's a teacher, she touched your life. I had great teachers in my elementary days and I appreciate what they have done. They are really masters of their craft. Good day!

I was never teachers pet but I did have a favourite teacher, my english teacher, I hated english as I wasn't that good at it and I had had some awful english teachers. This teacher really turned it all around for me and I then used to write loads for her. Her only downfall was she wouldn't let me read Enid Blyton books to review them in our book reviews

Ooh yes I have a favorite teacher when I was in high school and guess what we still keep in touch.I make it a point when I get to visit my grandparents I make sure that I visit my school and my fav teacher. I have shared so many problems of mine and in fact there was a time when I was really depressed and she was the person who gave me the courage and learn to live. Regards

I haven't been a student in quite a while but I do remember my 3rd year high school teacher... I love her to bits... She was the best teacher one can ever have, she was our adviser and we did learn a lot from her. She wasn't a terror teacher but disciplined us with love and actual caring for her students, It has been a long time ago, I wonder if she still teaches, she left the school same year as us and we don't know where she is now, but I do hope she's doing great and still instilling a loving discipline among her students.

I do! My mentor. My teacher Lynette in High School. I cant remember the time that she raise her voice to anyone, instead, she talks to them in a way that we can realize what were doing is wrong..and just like your teacher, mother image to the students...i used to be a bad student, but when she became my adviser, she made me do good in school and excel in the things that i love doing and extra curricular activities without leaving my studies out of the way.

Mr. Kaufman who gave us all fictitious middle names. Mrs. Garrick who called me her lazy mathematician. Mr. Darling who believed in me. Mr. Sanderson who introduced me to Lord of the Rings. Third grade teacher, name is failing me right now, who gave me a book on Pasteur. Mrs. Frankfurter who got me interested in German as a major. Mr. Prodaniuk just because he was very charismatic.

I use to be a teachers pet when I was in elementary. I also have some favorite teachers when I was still a student. I even still have communication to some of them until now and they became my good friends wherein I can confide to them my problems and joys also.

yeah when i was in High school my favorite is my english teacher. Not only because of her kindness but also her creativity in teaching us helps us a lot to learn. she's not actually jkust a teacher but a friend and a mother to her student.

I also have my favorite teacher, she's my english teacher in grade school. She trained me to be an orator, I don't know what she sees in a kid like me who jumps here and there in roof top of the school and bullying some of my classmates. But all she did is train and train me each day to the point that I have gone to competitions and bringing home trophies. I dunno much with her reasons but she believes in me and bringing out the best in me like an older sister that is constantly guiding her brother to the right path.

I actually had a favorite teacher in High School. I do not remember his name but he was also the football coach of our school and so he really knew how to get along with students. Something that I have noticed over my many years of school is that male teachers that have taught sports usually know more about why people do the things they do. Because of that, they are usually much more linient on their students as well, rather than giving them detention and other penalties for small things that everyone does anyways(Such as making paper airplanes.)

looking back over the years that i was in school i have to say that i did not have a favorite teacher. i had teachers i liked alot that treated me very well so i am grateful for that experience. i had a few teachers i did not like though and they stand out more than the ones i liked for some reason. my third, fifth and sixth grade teachers were the ones i did not like. my son has been lucky two years in a row both in kindergarten and first grade. he had great teachers. his teacher in preschool, however, was not nice. this year in second grade remains to be seen as we are only on our 3rd day.

I have heard just a few favorite teachers some at school and some at college. I liked them because they were very sweet to the students, never treated us rudely and were very understanding and always used to listen to what we had to say. But most were very rude, just though too much about themselves, used to kind of show off in class that they were superior to us and stuff like that. We just hated all those professors and teachers. And we used to want to irritate them even more since they showed us that kind of behavior.

I was never pet to teachers, but i had a favorite teacher in school. I joined in the middle of the academic year and the exams were nearing. He helped me out a lot in teaching and also completing my notes. also he has helped me out a lot when i had problems and he has encouraged me a lot when i felt down. I really am thankful to him till now. He was very kind too.

Yes I do. Sister Palmira from my primaru school. She has been the one to encourage me to become a better person in life. She has been a true teacher in all respect and I was lucky to have her as a teacher in my life.

When I am studying, I have my fav teacher. Actually They are many.. I like those teachers who can share lot of things... much more than expected.. and I like those who show respect.
