Do you go to airport when a loved one leaves or do you say goodbye at home?

Saying goodbye is almost always sad, no matter what the reason maybe. Are you one who goes to the airport and see your loved one until he is able to "fly"? or are you the type who would rather say your goodbyes at home? I don't like tearful goodbyes so I prefer to stay home. What about you?

When my wife will go for vacation in the Philippines and I could not go with her due to some particular reason like I would like her to be more safer together with my daughter and it is such painful to see them going but they have to go and I still have pain although I know that they will be coming back but I do not know on why I still pain........
