Thanks for making me realize I thought its small memory because its just 3 gb of ram. I'm not yet really that familiar with the system properties of a pc. I dream of a macbook pro which can do pretty much everything under the sun. Happy posting.

Well thats a"JACKPOT"for the computer processor to work in. The computer processor will be feeling to be working in 18 holes of golf all connected together. That sure is big memory space and you can open many heavy application without even worrying that your computer is getting slow.

3 gb of ram is useless unless u have a 64 bit operating system
32 bit operating system can address only 2gb of system memory
so to completely use the treasure of 3gb make sure u use a 64 bit os

No in present day's laptops, 3 GB RAM is not that huge. Now a days it is quite a basic requirement to have a 3 GB RAM in the laptops. If you are a computer gamesaholic then it is necessary to have a 3GM RAM. As there are certain computer games which don't work in 2 GB RAM. So anyways having 3 GB RAm is an asset , not a liability.

Hi! I have 3 GB of RAM too. My husband was the one chose my laptop. I really don't have enough knowledge when it comes to internal parts of laptop. I asked him and he says having that bytes of RAM is very impressive, and mine is upgradable to 4GB easily. But 3GB of RAM? I think its fine. hehehe.

3gig of ram sure is very impressive! Wow! I only have 384gig on my desktop, and am only dreaming of maybe getting 512gig for it so it can run a little faster!
