http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/sep/03/uselections2008.joebiden I highly object to the usage of the word "alleged" in this article, but nevertheless -- I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw this article. So what do you think? I don't know, there's a beef with getting news from other countries...but sometimes a fresh set of eyes is good. What did I think? "Goddess bless it, if he does this I'll love him forever." I'm not sure whether or not to let this boost my hopes for 2009, but yeah. I wonder if Dennis Kucinich's Articles of Impeachment helped inspire all this?

Wow actually another plus for the Obama camp in my book. I for one was saying Kucinich was speaking too little too late, but supported his theories then. I am pleased to hear if Obama is elected he will pursue these criminals. Maybe we will see some justice for 9/11. I just hope he doesn't spend his presidency pursuing this alone and forgetting the major issues at hand. Great news to me if you ask. Thank you for posting this..

Better late than never, as the saying goes... Well, in the article Obama is quoted saying he doesn't want his presidency if he's elected to turn into a witch-hunt, 'cause there are alot of problems around that need attending. But it sounds like he might wanna try balancing the two things -- 'cause they're all important, at this point. Anyway, absolutely -- I'm trying to make it a habit to post the stuff that others don't on here ^_^' in politics and news this is a pretty broad selection to choose from...but I really had to post this and see what everyone thought, on here.

Ron Paul tried to sue Clinton over his illegal war. The Courts decided he didn't have standing to sue.

he can't. there is nothing to sue for. our legal system doesn't work like that, our government doesn't work like that.

Biden said: "If there has been a basis upon which you can pursue someone for a criminal violation, they will be pursued – not out of vengeance, not out of retribution, out of the need to preserve the notion that no one, no attorney general, no president -- no one is above the law." Does that mean he also intends to pursue Bill Clinton for waging an illegal war in former Yugoslavia? Unlike Bush Clinton went there WITHOUT the support of congress who voted against it 427 - 2. If not then how can he say it is anything but partisan and a matter of vengeance when Clinton clearly violated the constitution.

I saw an interview with biden yesterday and he was asked about this. It is grosly exagertated, but the guardian is known for this. He said that there will be investigations of some areas of the government but when asked if he was persuing criminal charges against bush, he just laughed and said of course not. Listen folks, we've been over this. There is nothing to sue for. Nothing to charge with. there is no basis for impeachment or criminal charges. You want to charge a president for an "ilegal war"? Then go after Clinton, who went to war despite a congressional that voted almost UNANIMOUSLY against authorizing it, this was far more ilegal than Iraq.
