I Turn 30 Today

Well its official... at 11:28pm tonight I turn 30! I thought for sure I would have some serious reservations about turning thirty, but now that its here I think I'm okay with the fact that I am another decade older. It seems whenever my birthday comes I tend to reflect on my past and this year has been no exception, if anything there has been more reflection on my part. I have managed to get through thirty years with no criminal record, very few visible scars, and most of my sanity intact. So why was I so afraid of turning thirty in the past is beyond me. In fact I have a lot to be thankful for when I look at it, I don't know what my thirties have in store for me, but it certainly can't be any more traumatizing then being a teenager! So here is to a new decade in my life and a new beginning!

Happy belated birthday SinfulSweet! So did you get anything special on your special day? PS I don't know why some people worry about turning the big 3-0, it is just a number after all! At least you know that now! LOL

Happy brithday. I turned 30 a year and a half ago. I didn't really feel any differnt or notice anything differnet it was just another year gone by was all. My son is looking forward to turning 13 becoming a teenager is a milestone. I guess I will wait and see what I feel like when I turn 40.

First of all Happy Birthday. My 28th is approaching rapidly, the 24th of this month in fact. I much like you am a little uneasy about this whole aging process. I have not taken birthdays lightly over the past couple of years. Time seems to be going faster and faster. I hope I handle my 30th birthday as well as you have. I think as long as my life is on the path I want it to be I will be just fine. I had my first daughter just before my 25th birthday and I took that one really hard. It depressed me really bad for whatever reason. So the next month I went out enrolled myself back and school and set my butt right back on track. Hopefully 30 will not get to me and I can celebrate without a care.
