Heartbroken ones get mushy..and their music is much more emotional as them...
Why they still listen to music can make them more sadder till they cry a river..
But music can do a lot to everyone, happy, sad, inlove, even in the desperate ones...

I agree with you about classical music. I love it, also. It stirs the emotions.

it cant mend a brokenheart but it surely helps!
When I have some issues, after all I'm a teenager... my life is full of "problems", I go to my room and play some Power Ballads, specially those from the 80's -Every rose has its thorn by Poison, Alone by Heart... some of that stuff and I instantly relax
WrEiRd, but true

it depends on how you take message from the song it can be misleading at times.but when dealing with emotions (like be heartbroken)the best way is to let them out and the songs provide the situation you can relate to.

listening to music after a break-up is somewhat suidal coz you'll only adding pain that you're suffering at that very moment..listening to music will only bring back your happy moments with him and that's a stabbed in your heart once more..(",)

Yes, it does wonders for the soul. There's definately a song for every mood and when i'm sad it expresses what I cannot in my own words...sometimes it does make me cry but it's best to get it out of your system.

i can't say that it could mend a broken heart, i think it's more of easing a bit of the pain. somehow one can relate to the song itself, the lyrics and it's melody especially if that specific song reminds them of that pain they're going through. =)
