Do you wear contact lense or eyeglasses?

Hi insulin. I wear soft contact lenses mostly. I do wear glasses in the evening at home and maybe on weekends, if I feel lazy and just don't want to mess with putting my contacts in. I first wore glasses in first grade and couldn't afford contacts til age 21 or so. Boy, was I ever excited when I got that first pair! and that was when there were only hard contacts and they hurt like heck! But I didn't care. Thankfully, over the years, many improvements were made on contacts. So, my contacts now don't ever hurt. I can wear them from morning til night, really, and they never hurt. I guess if I want to look nice, I prefer my contacts. But for hanging out around the house, my glasses are okay, too.

I have problems with my eyes and I have been wearing prescription glasses since I started going to school when I was 6 years old. I consider eye glasses to be part of my face now and can't do without them! I was told I can't wear contact lenses, but I haven't investigated further, as I am not really interested in them, as part of my fact would be missing if I did without my eye glasses!

I wish I could wear contacts. I tried but they just would not stay in my eyes. I hate to wear glasses. I have worn them since I was about 7 years old. Even though there are lots more styles to choose from than when I first started wearing them, I still hate glasses.

[i]Hi insulin, I have eyeglasses when I was in College and after 2 months of wearing it, I decided to stop using and just take care of my health especially my eyes! LOL! and so far, until now, I am very fine...Thanks God! I love fashion too but I haven't tried using any contact lenses![/i]

I wear both... I love wearing both... I have short eyesights too. Neither sucks. I wear glasses at home but whenever I go out, I would wear my contact lenses ;)

i wear eyeglasses. i like contact lens too but i think it requires extra care. so i prefer glasses rather than lens.

I wear contacts and glasses because I have short sight. I have been wearing glasses for more than 20 years (almost 25 years now) and started wearing contacts a little more than 10 years back. I don't wear coloured lenses. I like the colour of my eyes which are brown. I'm thinking of going in for laser treatment to rectify the problem in my eyes....after so many years glasses as well as contacts are a hassle. I prefer to wear my glasses at home and prefer contacts for social functions and when I work at the school with kids where the glasses might be too much to handle for me.

I've been wearing contacts since before high school. During those times, I used the hard lens and believe me, it was a pain to use. I swear if I had to wear something like that ever again, I'd rather not wear contacts anymore. Then I switched to wearing soft contacts which were way better and I can say that the pair I have on right now are the best. I'm not the type to change colors. I've always stuck to clear contacts, one because in case I can't wear one, it wouldn't be noticeable and two, because I love the color of my eyes (which are hazel brown) and I don't want to cover them up with a fake color.

I'm short-sighted and have to wear glasses only when I watch TV. But to tell the truth I like my glasses and I even have two pairs.

[b]nope i don't wear lens or eyeglasses either. i still have a good eyesight and thank God for it. i think i will be lazy enough to wear contacts due to some rituals to do with it and that you are not allowed to sleep with your contacts on right? waaah!! don't want to make a mistake with it that may end me up getting blinded. hahaha! happy posting and happy mylotting![/b]

hi, i wear glasses and i've worn them for a few years too but if you want to look fashionable, choose a pair of glasses that suit you and match your face and eye colour. i would choose glasses and occassionally, the contacts

I wear eye glasses because of poor eye sight. I love wearing glasses and change them too often.

Now I will love to wear contact lenses but I have never gotten around to purchasing it simply because I don't dare to. I don't fancy inserting artificial things into my eyes. So I still wear spectacles. Glasses suck though. :(

i don't have eyeglass there are not problem with my eyes i advise that if your eyes is not good for see everything,you must have a fashion eyeglass to help you

No, I wear eyeglasses, aka spectacles. I freak at contact lenses. I have this phobia of anything coming into contact with my eyes. I won't even look under water unless I have goggles or eye shields.

i wear glasses/ i am wearing them from 16 years. i also tried contact lenses. but it did not suited me.so again back to glasses

I do not wear contact lense or eyeglasses. I feel it is difficult and uneasy to wear contact lenses. Moreover, you are required to be very careful, while wearing them and they needs lots of care and protection. My brother used to wear it, but when he found that it was very difficult to maintain contact lenses and protect them from dust etc., he gave up and switched over to eyeglasses.

I wear glasses only because contacts are too time-consuming for me to clean and put in every day and take out every night. I can't wear disposables that you keep in for a week and then just toss because my eyes are too bad. I loved when I used to have contacts only because I could wear any sunglasses I wanted. Can't do that if you wear glasses.

I don't like to wear both of them and I am glad that I do not need them for my eyesight are all well ......

I wear both. I usually wear contact lenses during the day and glasses at night. I really hate wearing glasses at all. I really want to try to colored contact lenses, but I haven't yet. I keep telling myself after I lose some weight, I will try green lenses as a reward.
