Words are what we put together to form a sentence .Some different words are put together and the resultant sentence do not make sense at all and vice versa have you ever considered the effects some words have on our feelings? Some words tend to give us spooky feelings while others give us comforting relief. Can you list some of those words that have given you some form of comfort and a few that makes you uncomfortable at the mention of them, mine are nice, cool, pretty, alright while the following leave bad tastes in my mouth gush, gorge, etc

the ones make me feeling comfortable are great, fun, smart, beautiful, cute; while gloom, rid, disgust, away, 'praise the lord' (sorry about the last; some people misuse the sentence so that it imply something fanatic and narrow minded. again, sorry) make me feel uncomfortable.

i can understand what you mean when you say the lastr sentence is misused to imply fanatism but i dont think so ,i also use the sentence myself but out of genuine praise to God and not for fanatic reasons
