Do you segregate your mails into different folders in your mailbox

Hey, are you the neat and tidy type when it comes to arranging your mails in the mailbox by creating different folders or do you just let it be as it is. About 6 months ago, I had made different folders and used to arrange all my mails, whether read or unread, into the respective folders. But, that was true only for a couple of days. Today by mailbox is cluttered with 'God Knows What' mails and it is totally unorganised. Now, to think of arranging it again in folders seems to be an impossible task. I don't know, if you are also as unorgainsed as I am.

Hi serath, nice to know that you're very organised. I use yahoo mail. Can you tell me more about the labelling facility in Gmail. Will it help me in organising my mails easily?

Well I arrange my mails in my mailbox and I have different names like if i get mails from any of my family members I arrange them and any mails from office or mails from friends it goes by and the fact is that I dont get confused and my mail box is neat.I make sure that I delete my junk mails quiet often and make sure that my mails box is not jammed.
I also make sure that any mails which I feel should be deleted I delete them.

Hi seeths, nice to know that you are very well-organised in terms of your mailbox. I hope I were even half as organised as you. I have pages and pages of mails in my inbox and it seems to be an uphill task to have it sorted. Now, with mailbox having virtually unlimited space I don't feel like even deleting any of them. Only God know if I will ever read those mails again. But, I intend to arrange my mails atlest from this day onwards. All the best to me!

yes. i have, in fact, ten different folders in my inbox.
i am a neat freak, and i do not like to see read messages on my inbox, so after reading the mail, i transfer it to the appropriate folder. that way, i can search for files more easily (although yahoo mail has a search function integrated inside their mail

Hey, that's nice to know that you are very organised. I have also created about 10-12 folders in my mailbox but I guess I am too lazy to move it into the respective folders. I sometimes totally forget about it when I am in a hurry and try to do it after some days and it seems as an uphill task. So, I really can't help it but let it be that way.
